On Different Cultures

East vs west. This is just a conjecture on my part.

Western society resembles the animal kingdom more closely. In most of the animal groups, young male adults are forced out of their homes. They have to fend for themselves or conquer another female pride. Could it be due to male ego? Males have probably evolved to command and exercise their will. Women have probably evolved to form alliances.

IMO, western society had more resources per capita due to low population density. Probably resembles the conditions of animal kingdom.
In contrast, eastern society's dense population led to the proliferation of joint families. Respect etc. became a medium to accomodate the ego of dominant male (mostly the patriarch).
