Life Deconstructed

Maslov's hierarchy of needs sums up the meaning of life to a great extent. However, IMO, it barely scratches the surface and does not do a root cause analysis (no criticism intended). In this post, I will do a root cause analysis of the different factors driving the hierarchy of needs. I will talk about evolution in general and also consider the meaning of life from a metaphysical perspective.

At the heart of human existence lies a very fundamental force; survival instinct. Most of human behaviour can be traced back to this fundamental force. Over a period of time, this force has given rise to various pleasure and pain circuits.

From a evolutionary perspective, the brain can be divded into reptilian, primate, and other brain.

Engaged nonduality is embracing life without any attachement. This is the best way to practice just being. This is the essence of life.
