Equality

The whole empathy and compassion thing comes primarily from mirror neurons and the selfish gene thing. Equality needs to be reassessed. There is really no sound theory which suggests all humans should be equal. If it is, why are animals not equal? Is it because they have a lower level of consciousness? 

Equality can be categorized. Respect, dignity is one category. Equality is important here. Opportunities is another category. Everyone should have equal opportunity. 

Some people can leverage their strengths and create a highly unequal structure. Is this fair? This is probably the most relevant question. Does it create issues for others? Another question arises from this: Is this a zero sum game? In general, doesn't seem like a zero sum game to me. Eg. If someone was burning wood for cooking and I create a solar cooker and sell it to them and in the process make something,  then it eases their life, saves the environment, quality of life improves,  and everyone wins. Not zero sum game. But it can become a zero sum game in many cases. 

My guess is it is the weak who clamour for equality.
