On Just Being
Just being is awareness. It is having no attributes. It is having no desires, no aversions, no cravings. It is living in the moment. It is equanimity. It is meditation. It is compartmentalizing. It is every moment is important. It is pulling the strings on the harp with the right tension. Niether too tight nor too loose. Just being is the closest thing to enlightenment. Just being is engaged nonduality.
When you are aware you can do an objective analysis. Otherwise the automated/conditioned programming kicks in.
Some ways of just being. One is to gradually remove distractions and train the mind. Opening the heart will help significantly. Other is to directly get started living in the moment; distractions will gradually disappear.
From a neurobiological point of view, just being activates the pre-frontal cortex which allows us to overcome the hardwiring.
