Timelessness and time
In my quest of reconciling various ideologies I come across many weird ideas. These ideas should be taken with a pinch of salt as they
are a layman's interpretation of various theories.
In various enlightenment stories people talk about timelessness. How to interpret the seeming weirdness? Imagine there are two dimensions x and y. An object can move along the x axis and not move along the y axis at all. Similarly if there is an extra dimension beyond space and time you can move along that dimension and not move in time at all. But the counterintutiveness lies in the fact that we can easily understand that one can move along one dimension and not move along another but with time it is altogether different. Space-time fabric, relativity etc can provide some answers.
